RESTAURANT MANAGER Heathrow Terminal 5

Our client has created a new unique destination restaurant in Heathrow Airport Terminal 5. The concept offers international food in a chic and contemporary environment that is inspired by first class travel on-board 1950’s Pan Am flights. The bar & kitchen concept imbues the themes of premium travel, vintage aeroplane design and elegant style. Opening from 05.30 until 23.00

The Bar & Restaurant consists of 150 covers featuring an International menu with British Classics.


Job role

Reporting into the General Manager, you will manage and oversee all aspects of the day to day management of the Restaurant at Terminal 5 to ensure that the team deliver the rhubarb product in quality, consistency & presentation and also within the financial parameters of the annual budget

You will be required to drive revenue performance and maximizing seating capacities whilst developing additional revenue streams to improve restaurant and bar sales at high standards at all times.

You will be an ambassador the restaurant brand and build up relation shift with both internal and external guests.

Your job role requires you to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery whilst proactively seeking improvements and reacting to challenges as they arise.


Candidate profile

Your previous working experience must demonstrate a background in either a 5* hotel, fast paced retail operation, bar or restaurant will provide a close fit with the restaurant values and commitment to quality, style and flair demonstrating previous start up or business opening exposure

You will display great attention to detail and be methodological in your work approach and demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm to motivate, develop and lead the team with drive and consistency.

You will have relevant sales skills and demonstrate diplomacy, tact and maintain confidentiality at all times.

You will be an excellent team player, lead by example and be able to communicate at all levels and commit to sharing your knowledge and skills within our service and kitchen brigade.

You must be able to provide us with the relevant employment references for a 5 years background and CRB check
